They say that first impressions are the most powerful - so make your first impression a great one with a strong, well-structured resume. Think of your resume as a personal marketing opportunity - a chance to reveal the best examples of your experience, education, accomplishments, skills and abilities to us.
Spend some time developing or updating your resume with each job application. You may wish to customize your resume, to ensure that your relevant experience and qualifications are highlighted to your advantage.

How do I apply?
You can apply for any posted position, or you can submit your resume for future positions. If submitting for future positions, indicate the positions of interest. PCCU does not have application forms.
If applying for a posted position please identify the position in the cover letter.
Applications can be emailed, mailed, faxed or delivered in person. You must include both a resume and a cover letter. References must be included with the resume.
Should I submit my references with my resume?
Yes. Always submit references as a pre-screening reference check may be conducted.
References must be employment related and from a senior person that supervised you.
How do I know PCCU received my resume?
When emailing you will receive an automatic response. Resumes submitted in any other format will not receive notification.
How long will my resume stay on file?
Resumes are kept on file for six months.
Will I be contacted about my resume?
You will only be contacted if you are chosen for an interview.
How do I know if I meet the job posting criteria?
Job postings outline the required education, knowledge and experience. It is your job to match your qualifications to those required. Only applicants meeting the detailed criteria will be considered.
Should I submit my resume even if PCCU is not advertising for positions?
We welcome the submission of resumes from candidates at any time. Your resume will be added to our data base.
How do I access more information on a job posting?
Contact the Human Resources Coordinator at PCCU corporate office in Rosetown. The coordinator can provide you with more information on the position and direct you to the appropriate contact person.
If you are truly interested in the position you will gather all the relevant information regarding the position applied for.
How will I know if my resume is being considered for a position?
You must meet all the criteria detailed in the job posting. Only applicants who are chosen will be contacted for an interview.
Can I update information on my resume?
You will be required to submit an updated resume if any of your information changes including education, experience, references or address. If your resume has been on file for longer than six months, you should submit an updated resume.
What is the recruitment and interview process?
Resumes are reviewed against the minimum requirements.
- Short-listed candidates are contacted by human resources
- Pre-screening reference checks
- A pre-screening telephone interview may be scheduled
- Applicants may be asked to take an assessment test
- Face to face interviews are scheduled and undertaken (usually at the location of the branch)

- Successful candidate(s) will be contacted and the position offered pending successful background checks:
- Education
- Credit check
- Criminal record check
- Bonding
What type of training is offered?
We offer an orientation and training program to all successful candidates. Internal and external training is provided. You will work with a trainer for the initial training period. Following completion of the training period, your trainer will remain as your support person. All required and ongoing training is paid by the credit union.
Are there any special conditions of employment?
Yes. You must authorize and submit to a criminal record check, credit check, and be bondable.
References are to be submitted with the resume so pre-screening can be conducted.
