Aspire Scholarship & Career Start Program

Foundation for success and an investment in you!

The ASP!RE Program is a unique scholarship and career start program that helps pay your tuition and gives you a head start in the financial services industry. If accepted into the program, you will receive an annual cash contribution to your education, guaranteed summer employment while in school, and a guaranteed position with our credit union following graduation. This program will provide you with valuable, hands-on work experience that aligns your educational goals with our business needs.

The ASP!RE Program can provide you with up to $10,000 per year for post-secondary education costs. If you are a student who is currently enrolled in your first, second, or third year of a full-time diploma or degree program, you are eligible to apply.

The ASP!RE Program will provide you with guaranteed summer work for each year you are in school, and a permanent full-time position upon graduation, in exchange for a return in service equal to the period of the scholarship received. For example, if you are accepted into the program and receive a total scholarship of $20,000 for your third and fourth years of school, your return of service commitment to Prairie Centre Credit Union will be two years. Prairie Centre Credit Union is Saskatchewan's largest rural-based credit union serving over 15,000 members in 15 locations.
