Position Description

Prairie Centre Credit Union is currently seeking a Retail Support Officer for a job share opportunity in our Elrose branch.  This position will report directly to the Deposit Service Manager.  The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, have a positive attitude, enjoy a challenge, and have a keen sense for detail and accuracy. This individual must also possess strong public relation skills and present themselves in a very professional manner.

Qualifications Required

Qualifications:

• Office education program or a combination of education and experience
• Three years relevant work experience (preferably with a credit union or financial institution)
• Intermediate computer and keyboarding skills
• Numerical reasonability and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong public relation skills
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide optimum member service
• Promote PCCU products and services
• Compliance reviews on account documentation
• Provide administrative support for various retail lending and deposit functions including; booking appointments, and    preparing reports and correspondence for branch staff
• Build relationships internally with management and staff
• Provide cash coverage as required
• General office duties (maintain switchboard and phone system, photocopying, order supplies, mail, courier, file maintenance)
• Manage the Community Development Fund and Petty Cash
• Reconciliation of Expense Accounts
• Documentation of minutes at branch meetings
