Disruption to Canada Post Services

With Canada Post strike action underway, mail delays are possible, which could affect your products and services at Prairie Centre Credit Union. The information below outlines possible disruption and how to minimize impacts:

Statements
Mailed statements will be delayed until after the strike is over. We recommend signing up to receive eStatements, which allows you to access your statements electronically within Prairie Centre's digital banking platform. The process for signing up for eStatements is listed below.

  1. Sign in to Prairie Centre's digital banking
  2. If you’re using a desktop device, click "My PCCU", navigate to the Settings menu, and click "Statement Preferences".
  3. If you’re using the mobile banking app, click the "More" option in the bottom right hand corner, select "General Settings" and tap "Statement Preferences".
  4. In each statement account section, you will see a button ("v" icon), followed by an "Account details" label. When you click on that button, a subsection will expand, displaying all the accounts that are merged with that primary account. We call that the statement account.
  5. You can adjust the toggle button to turn paper statements "OFF" or "ON". If the toggle is in the "OFF" position, it will have no colour, meaning it is disabled and you will not receive paper statements. If the toggle is "ON", you will see that it is green, meaning that you will receive a paper statement.
Please note that some of business and personal monthly service plans do charge for paper statements.

If you require a printed statement, please visit your nearest branch and one can be provided.

MemberCard® Debit Cards and Cheque Order Delivery Delays
New or replacement cards and cheque orders may be delayed. If you require a new debit card or are waiting on cheques, please reach out to your nearest branch and our staff will assist you.

Credit Cards and Statements
If you are currently receiving paper statements for your Collabria credit card, you may experience delays in receiving your statements by mail. You can view your balance, transaction history and enrol in eStatements anytime at cardwiseonline.ca, or through the CardWise Mobile app. Additional information and how-tos can be found here and at www.collabriacreditcards.ca/myaccount.
Important: Once enrolled, you’ll begin to receive eStatements and availability notifications when the next statement is issued.

In the event of a service disruption impacting the delivery of physical credit card account statements, you are responsible for making the minimum monthly payment on your credit card accounts. To make payments quickly and securely, you can use CardWise Mobile and CardWise Online to review the balance owing on your card and make a one-time payment or set up recurring payments using AutoPay or use your online banking platform bill payment function.

If you are not enrolled in one of the digital account management solutions available for your card, but wish to confirm your account balance, automated balance updates are available by calling the number on the back of your card. Once an active card number is entered, remain on the line to hear an automated balance summary.

If you are expecting a replacement card (for lost, stolen, or damaged cards), delays in delivery can be expected. Paper statement delivery will resume once postal service is restored. Delays are to be expected once service resumes.

Rewards redemptions such as those for merchandise or gift cards requiring mail delivery, may experience delays in delivery time. As the holiday season nears, cardholders are encouraged to make merchandise and gift card redemptions with these potential delays in mind.
