The ASP!RE Scholarship Program
The ASP!RE Program is a unique scholarship and career start program to help pay your tuition while giving you a head start in the financial services industry. If accepted into the program, you’ll get an annual cash contribution towards your education, guaranteed summer employment while in school, and a guaranteed position with our credit union after you’ve graduated. So, if you’re looking for a program that provides you with work experience that aligns your educational goals, look no further.

The ASP!RE Program can provide you with up to $10,000 per year for post-secondary education costs. If you’re a student currently enrolled in a first, second or third year of a full-time diploma or degree program, you’re eligible to apply.

The ASP!RE Program will provide you with guaranteed summer work for each year you are in school, and a permanent full-time position upon graduation, in exchange for a return in service equal to the period of the scholarship received. For example, if you are accepted into the program and receive a total scholarship of $20,000 for your third and fourth years of school, your return of service commitment to Prairie Centre Credit Union will be two years. Prairie Centre Credit Union is Saskatchewan's largest rural-based credit union serving over 15,000 members in 16 locations. We're a financial co-operative born on the prairies for people who want to live, work, and prosper here.

The application period was Friday, December 1, 2023. Please check back in November 2024 for next year's program.
