The ASPIRE Scholarship Program
The ASP!RE Program is a unique scholarship and career start program to help pay your tuition while giving you a head start in the financial services industry. If accepted into the program, you’ll get an annual cash contribution towards your education, guaranteed summer employment while in school, and a guaranteed position with our credit union after you’ve graduated. So, if you’re looking for a program that provides you with work experience that aligns your educational goals, look no further.

The ASP!RE Program can provide you with up to $10,000 per year for post-secondary education costs. If you’re a student currently enrolled in a first, second or third year of a full-time diploma or degree program, you’re eligible to apply.

The ASP!RE Program provides guaranteed summer work for each year you’re in school, and a permanent full-time position upon graduation in exchange for a return in service equal to the period of the scholarship received. Here’s an example — if you’re accepted and receive a total scholarship of $20,000 for your third and fourth years of school, your return of service commitment to Prairie Centre Credit Union will be two years. And who are we? Prairie Centre Credit Union is Saskatchewan's largest rural-based credit union serving over 15,000 members in 15 locations. We're a financial co-operative born on the prairies for people who want to live, work and prosper here.

The Fall 2020 intake for our Aspire program is now closed. Please check back in October 2021 for information on next year's program.
