The Prairies – our home and way of life. Prairie Centre was born on the prairies in 1993 as a result of a merger between five like-minded credit unions in the West Central region of Saskatchewan. Since then, 10 more branches have joined, making Prairie Centre the largest rural-based credit union in Saskatchewan.

Much like the members we serve, our determination, grit, and passion for the prairies is what helped us grow to a full-service financial institution; serving over 17,000 members, managing over $1.5 billion in assets, and employing over 190 people.

Prairie Centre Credit Union currently has Member Service Representative - Casual positions available in the following locations:

  • Elbow/Loreburn
  • Spiritwood


Roles and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager Member Service & Support, the Member Service Representative - Casual will have a genuine desire to respond to member requests. The Member Service Representative - Casual will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact by delivering outstanding member service, fostering positive relationships, and contributing to the overall satisfaction of our members.

Join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional member service as you:

  • Build Relationships: Cultivate connections with Prairie Centre Credit Union members by engaging in meaningful conversations, asking insightful questions, and actively listening to comprehend their financial needs
  • Be a Service Champion: Provide outstanding service to members, facilitating a range of daily financial transactions with precision, both over the phone and in person
  • Connect Members: Collaborate with branch colleagues to guide members toward tailored advice and solutions for credit and investments
  • Recommend Solutions: Highlight your expertise in Prairie Centre Credit Union's unique array of products and services, addressing member inquiries and offering solutions for their future needs
  • Empower members: to seamlessly access digital channels, enabling them to bank with Prairie Centre Credit Union at their convenience and preference


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is required. Prior experience in customer service or financial services is an asset, as is experience completing cash transactions
  • Proven computer and keyboarding skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, and excellent communication skills are essential
  • Exceptional customer service skills with an ability to demonstrate proactive behaviour by offering assistance or recommendations to members before they inquire
